from:
There isn’t another like it…And nobody can compare it…New York is special… New York is different ‘cause there’s no place else on Earth quite like New York and that’s why a lot of people LOVES NEW YORK. This is how Steve Carmen professed his love for the famous east coast state. The State of New York has been the subject of a lot of movies, poems, songs, and literature. It has a past that can be contested by no other. A history of immigrants from around the world arrived here from centuries past to modern times. It is where a variety of cultures meets and mingles. This place is worthy to be called the modern Babel. It is therefore nicknamed the melting pot of the world. From high rise corporate business to agricultural trade and industry, New York seems to have it all.
It is the state where the city never sleeps is located and the gigantic statue that never fails to welcome immigrants and tourists from around the world is seen. And basing on its economic growth, it would be ranked as one of the biggest economies in the world if it were a nation. The state of New York is culturally and financially rich.
As the state is famous for so many things, so is it famous for its high standard of living. But it also has its perks. Though there may be a rise in health costs and medical or hospital fees, the state of New York offers affordable health insurance plans for you and your family. It also has a law that stops health insurance companies from rejecting you because of unappealing health histories or pre-existing conditions.
Obtaining health insurance that is within the range of a small budget can be easy. You may be eligible for the New York Medicaid Program. It provides free coverage for the members of the family of low income earners: may they be children, senior citizens, disabled, or expecting mothers.
The state also has a program called The New York Family Health Plus Program which provides free or sponsored health insurance for families, individuals, and children who don’t have their own health insurance and are not able to pay high-priced premiums. As for the uninsured self-employed and those with small business, the state can provide them health insurance with low rates.
In addition, the Healthy New York program is created to support people with small businesses with less than 50 employees to provide health insurance to their workforce and their families or dependents health insurance coverage. Self-employed individuals and the uninsured working ones are also qualified to apply for the Healthy New York program. This program can give them the opportunity to purchase inexpensive and standardized health insurance packages that are provided by the state’s health maintenance organizations. These inexpensive packages are designed through the sponsorship of the State in order for the uninsured small business proprietors and self-employed can buffer their future financial health problems.
The Healthy New York program packages covers hospital services (inpatient and outpatient), doctor’s fees, diagnostic or laboratory services, radiograph or x-ray services, prenatal and/or maternity care, and health emergency services. Those who are eligible for this program may select a benefit package with or without a selected prescribed medication benefit.
With the state’s help, even low income earners can obtain health insurance that will provide them a safety net when it comes to financial health problems. Despite its famed high priced real estate, the state of New York can help you find an affordable health insurance.
